NG-CDF Board held a five day induction workshop for newly appointed board directors at Flamingo Pride inn Mombasa on 6^th -10^th of may 2019.

The workshop was graced by the State department for planning Principal Secretary, Dr. Julius Muia who congratulated the new Directors on their appointments and pointed out that the appointments have been done based on individual competencies and skills. The Directors are therefore expected to steer the Board for the next three (3) years and are expected to deliver on the Board’s Strategic Objectives as enshrined in the Strategic Plan.

He encouraged the new team to exercise independence, have team synergy, promote the image of the organization, and observe mwongozo code of regulations among others.

The induction gave the Board of Directors an understanding of the culture and operation of the Fund and a better perspective as they start off their term that will run till 2022. Key objectives of the induction were:
