OlKalou Constituency has taken a significant step in its digital transformation journey with the commissioning of three ICT Digital Hubs in Passenga, Wiyumiririe and Mirangine.

Established through Olkalou NG-CDF support, equipped by the Ministry of ICT, and receiving technical support from Konza Technopolis, the hubs will expand access to digital services, online learning and ICT skills development for residents across the constituency.

The commissioning ceremony was led by H.E. Hon. William Kabogo Gitau, EGH, Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communications and the Digital Economy, and attended by representatives from the NG-CDF Secretariat, Ol Kalou Fund Account Manager Hawah Abdul, ICT Digital Hubs Centre Manager Billy Gitau, local leaders and community members.

The hubs are expected to drive youth empowerment, support job creation and improve access to government and digital services, bringing technology closer to the people and opening new pathways for learning, innovation and economic growth.
