Today the Principal Secretary, State Department for Economic Planning, Dr. Bonface B. Makokha, led an inspection of NG-CDF projects in Budalangi Constituency, Busia County, accompanied by NG-CDF Board Chair Hon. Olago Aluoch CBS, Board Director Mr. Festus Wangwe, area MP Hon. Raphael Wanjala CBS, and the NG-CDF Committee.

The team inspected transformative mega projects including the NG-CDF funded multi-storey buildings (classrooms & labs)* that are changing the face of education infrastructure in Budalangi.

PS Dr. Makokha noted that NG-CDF remains a game-changer at the grassroots, with visible impact in schools and communities. He urged all leaders and implementers to focus on the software component – equipping, furnishing and deployment of staff – to ensure the buildings deliver quality education and services to wananchi.
