The National Assembly Select Committee on NG-CDF, led by Hon. Musa Sirma (Eldama Ravine MP & Chair), this week inspected Junior Secondary School infrastructure projects across Nairobi County. The visits focused on classrooms and laboratories funded through a Kshs.1 billion NG-CDF conditional grant, with each of the 17 constituencies receiving Kshs.58.8 million.
The projects are easing congestion in schools, reducing distances learners walk, and improving morale by creating better learning environments.
Committee members present included Vice-Chair Hon. Kassim Tandaza, Hon. Beatrice Elachi, Hon. Clive Gisairo, Hon. Josses Lelmengit, Hon. Mary Maingi, Hon. Susan Ngugi, Hon. Catherine Wambilianga, Hon. Mbithi Mwalyo, NG-CDF Board Chair CBS, Hon. Olago Aluoch, and Board Director Josephine Kanyi.
NG-CDF continues to play a central role in expanding education infrastructure and supporting bursaries for Kenyan learners.
