Members of the public attending the Mombasa International Show had the opportunity to engage directly with National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) Board staff, in an exhibition designed to bring the focus of the Fund closer to the citizens it serves.

The engagement gave visitors a first-hand platform to share their experiences with NG-CDF funded projects in their constituencies, gain a deeper understanding of how the Fund operates, and offer feedback on it’s management, an exercise the Board considers central to strengthening accountability and public trust.

Three themes anchored the Board’s engagement with the public at the show: bursaries, staff took visitors through the bursary application process,public participation in project selection and the rollout of Constituency Digital Hubs across the country.
The engagement forms part of the NG-CDF Board’s broader public sensitization and outreach efforts to enhance public understanding of the Fund’s functions and to encourage citizens to participate more actively in its management and oversight.

The show opened its doors to the public on 2nd September and will be open till the 6th of September, and members of the public are encouraged to visit the NG-CDF Board stand to share their experiences and give feedback before the show concludes.
