One of the NG-CDF Board Directors Ms.Karen Rono graced the groundbreaking ceremony on 1st October 2021 for Siksitet Secondary School where construction and equipping of 3 classrooms has been fully funded through #NGCDF Board’s CSR programme. The Director was accompanied by the Chesumei constituency M.P Hon. Wilson Kogo, Kiptuya ward MCA Geoffrey kevolwe, NG-CDF North Rift regional cordinator Mr. Okaro, NG-CDF Chesumei staff & secretariat staff.
The NG-CDF Board’s CSR projects ensure that the following aspects are demonstrated:
-Sustainable development in line with the guidelines of the various ministries.
-Project inclusivity through installation of ramps.
-Disaster management through installation of fire fighting equipment.
-Environment sustainability.
-Social inclusion where the Board ensures that the process of identifying the projects is transparent, honest and involves & encourages public participation to earn public trust.
-Showcase of cost-effectiveness, timeliness and completeness of a project.
