Mwala Constituency ‘Green Soccer’
The NG-CDF Board today participated in a tree planting exercise in Mwala Constituency.The event dubbed ‘Mwala Green Soccer Tournament’ was organized by Mwala NG-CDFC in a bid to curb the adverse effects of climate change in line with the presidential directive to plant 15 billion trees by 2032.
The team from the NG-CDF Board planted trees in 4 learning institutions namely:Masii Township Primary School, Makutano DEB Primary School, Mwala Technical Vocational College and Mwala DEB Primary School.
The event will be concluded with a Football Tournament between NG-CDF Board FC and local teams from Mwala Constituency.
