THE FUND AT 20

As the National Government Constituencies Development Fund Board commemorates ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ ๐˜†๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜€ of its existence, we wish to highlight the impact of the fund particularly in the education sector.
The Board recently conducted a data verification and validation exercise of education institutions established through the fund, sampling 52 constituencies countrywide.
Currently, over 75% of NG-CDF funds are channeled to the education sector, through infrastructural development and issuance of bursaries.
Through engagements with various key stakeholders and beneficiaries, the Board was able to identify the impact of the fund and identify best practices in project implementation.
Various stakeholders and beneficiaries were able to bring out the successes and challenges of the Fund.
The Fund has had a far-reaching effect particularly in the education sector, establishing schools where none existed.
This has seen an increase in transition of students from primary to secondary schools.
The Board also wishes to appreciate various stakeholders & partners, who have played various roles in realizing the impact of these projects is felt.
