ɴɢ-ᴄᴅꜰ ʙᴏᴀʀᴅ ʜᴀɴᴅ-ᴏᴠᴇʀ ᴘᴡᴅ ꜰʀɪᴇɴᴅʟʏ ꜱᴄʜᴏᴏʟ ʙᴜꜱ ᴛᴏ ᴍᴡᴀᴋɪᴄʜᴜᴄʜᴜ ꜱᴇᴄᴏɴᴅᴀʀʏ ꜱᴄʜᴏᴏʟ ᴀɴᴅ ꜱᴀɢᴀʟʟᴀ ᴄᴏᴍᴍᴜɴɪᴛʏ ɪɴ ᴠᴏɪ ᴄᴏɴꜱᴛɪᴛᴜᴇɴᴄʏ.

A wave of jubilation swept through Mwakichuchu Secondary School and the Sagalla Community in Voi Constituency as they received a brand-new school fully funded under the NG-CDF Board’s Best Practice Demonstration Programme. This 46-seater bus, equipped with PWD-friendly features, marks a significant step towards ensuring inclusive and accessible transportation for all students.
The bus will not only facilitate school commutes but also serve as a valuable resource for extracurricular activities, community events, and educational trips. This will enhance the learning and performance for the students.
In addition to the school bus handover, the NG-CDF Board also visited following projects:
1.Ruwenzori Dormitory in Voi Boys Secondary,renovated under the NG-CDF Voi Emergency Fund following a devastating fire.
2.JohnMark Mwanjumwa Secondary
School -Construction of Administration Block
In attendance were, The Area MP, Hon.Khamis Chome Abdi,NG-CDF Board Directors,Ms,Josephine Kanyi,Ms.Grace Kimitei,Hon.Naomi Masitsa ,NG-CDF Board CEO,Yusuf Mbuno,Director Richard Mwarema , NG-CDF Secretariat ,The DCC,Daniel Nduti,The founders of the school ,and the community.
The Board remains dedicated to fulfilling its mandate of upholding best practices and ensuring that every student has access to the Educational resources they need to thrive.
